solve non-linear equation in excel

Hey guys ,I was wondering if someone could help me with solve non-linear equation in excel? I have a major project to complete in a couple of months and for that I need a thorough understanding of problem solving in topics such as long division, side-side-side similarity and complex fractions. I can’t start my project until I have a clear understanding of solve non-linear equation in excel since most of the calculations involved will be directly related to it in one way or the other. I have a question set , which if someone can help me solve, would help me a lot.
